Welcome to DivorcePath. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DivorcePath platform, website, and services. Please read these Terms carefully before using our platform. By accessing or using DivorcePath, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By creating an account, accessing, or using DivorcePath in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our platform. If you are using DivorcePath on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
DivorcePath is an AI-powered divorce guidance platform that provides:
- • AI-powered legal advice tailored to your state and circumstances
- • Financial analysis tools including asset tracking, settlement scenario modeling, and tax impact calculations
- • Secure document management and storage
- • Communication drafting tools with AI tone analysis
- • Wellness and emotional support resources including journaling and mood tracking
The availability and scope of features may vary depending on your subscription plan. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Account Registration
To use most features of DivorcePath, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- • Provide accurate information: All information you provide during registration must be truthful and current. You agree to update your information promptly if it changes.
- • One account per person: Each individual may only maintain one DivorcePath account. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited and may result in termination of all associated accounts.
- • Password responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

Important Notice
DivorcePath provides informational guidance only. Our AI is not a lawyer, and the information provided through our platform does not constitute legal advice. DivorcePath is not a substitute for professional legal counsel.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- • DivorcePath does not provide legal advice and no attorney-client relationship is created by using our platform.
- • AI-generated guidance is informational in nature and should be used as a starting point for your own research and decision-making.
- • You should consult with a qualified attorney for advice specific to your legal situation, especially for complex matters involving custody, significant assets, or contested proceedings.
- • While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or may not reflect the most recent legal developments in your jurisdiction.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use DivorcePath only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:
- • Use the platform for any illegal activity or to facilitate illegal conduct
- • Abuse, manipulate, or attempt to exploit our AI systems, including through prompt injection, adversarial inputs, or attempts to extract training data
- • Share your account credentials with any other person or allow others to access your account
- • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform
- • Upload malicious code, viruses, or any other harmful content
- • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure, security, or other users' experience
- • Misrepresent AI-generated content as professional legal advice to others
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these acceptable use guidelines.
6. Subscription & Billing
Plans
DivorcePath offers a free tier and multiple paid subscription plans. Details of each plan, including features and pricing, are available on our pricing page. Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to applicable taxes.
Auto-Renewal
Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually, depending on your plan) unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged at the then-current rate for your plan.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free plan.
Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with DivorcePath within the first 14 days of your initial paid subscription, contact us for a full refund. Refund requests after the 14-day window are handled on a case-by-case basis.
7. Intellectual Property
DivorcePath's property: The DivorcePath platform, including its design, code, AI models, logos, trademarks, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by DivorcePath and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our prior written consent.
Your data: You retain full ownership of all data, documents, and content you upload to or create within DivorcePath. We do not claim ownership of your personal data. By using the platform, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing our services to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using DivorcePath, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DivorcePath and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the platform.
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the use of DivorcePath exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
DivorcePath is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the information provided through our AI systems or any other part of the platform.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate this settlement at any time:
- • You: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Before deletion, you will have the opportunity to export your data.
- • DivorcePath: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or if we are required to do so by law. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before any termination, except in cases of severe violations.
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after account deletion, during which time you may request a data export. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of DivorcePath shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of these courts.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of DivorcePath after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue your use of the platform.
